"Jarod has been exceptional. He explained a number of ways for us to save money while still having great coverage. "This is going to sound like a commercial, but I really did save a lot of money by switching my auto, condo, umbrella and jewelry insurance policies to State Farm. But beyond the savings, the best part of the experience was the high level of service and care that I received from Jarod at the State Farm Agency in Coram. After having received yet another rate increase from my current insurance carrier (A) and speaking to the agent who had been servicing my account for many years, but did not seem to take an interest in keeping my business, I decided to shop around for a new insurance company. I called the State Farm Agency in Coram and was promptly assisted by Jarod, who offered to help me with a quote on the spot, right over the phone. He was so knowledgeable and eager to help that I immediately felt comfortable with him. Jarod not only reviewed the coverage that I had, but he asked me additional questions so that he could really understand what my needs were. We ended up making some adjustments in my coverage based on how my needs had changed. He was able to show me some aspects where I was over insured and shared that I actually had unnecessary coverage for the type of dwelling that I live in. I appreciated his honesty and knowledge of the local market to be able to properly advise me. Jarod made it easy to switch carriers by sending all the documents to me via email. I was able to review and sign them electronically, thus eliminating the need for me to go to the agency or to wait for paperwork in the mail. Everything was completed the same day with very little effort on my part. They even took care of notifying my former carrier that I was canceling my policies with them as of a certain date. I cannot say enough good things about the knowledge, attention to detail and professionalism of Jarod and the team at the State Farm Agency in Coram. I highly recommend them for all of your insurance needs."
